Alfa MiTo MultiAir Goes On Sale - 26/01/2010
Car fans eager to experience the hugely anticipated benefits of Alfa Romeo’s innovative new MultiAir engine technology in the sporty Alfa MiTo range can now place their order through their local Alfa Romeo dealership.
The lure of increased performance combined with increased fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions is expected to invigorate sales of the already hugely popular Alfa MiTo line-up.
In particular, it’s the inclusion of the 1.4 MultiAir 170 bhp Alfa MiTo Cloverleaf model, complete with Active Suspension and Start&Stop technology, that will peak the interest of almost all driving enthusiasts.
The fact that the Alfa MiTo Cloverleaf can cover the 0-62 mph sprint in just 7.5 seconds and onto a top speed of 136 mph is remarkable enough, but it’s the combined fuel economy figure of 47.1 mpg for this top-of-the-range model that sets it apart from all other rivals.
Similarly the 1.4 MultiAir 135 bhp Alfa MiTo Lusso and Veloce models post impressive figures that will make ownership fun and affordable.
As well as the exciting performance credentials of the two high-tech MulitAir engines, the CO2 levels – 129 g/km for the 135 bhp and 139 g/km for the 170 bhp - are amongst the lowest of all the petrol Alfa MiTo models.
On the road prices for the Alfa MiTo MultiAir models start at £15,165 for the 1.4 MultiAir 135 bhp Lusso, with the range topping 170 bhp Cloverleaf priced at £17,895.
