MiTo MultiAir Space Invaders Tour

Alfa Romeo is bringing the classic Space Invaders arcade game to life in an interactive UK first. The Italian manufacturer is beaming a giant projection of the ever-popular game onto buildings across the country for the public to play.

The tour kicked off on February 12th in Brick Lane, London, as part of the launch of Alfa Romeo's technologically advanced new MiTo MultiAir models, and to mirror the new TV advertising campaign.

The public use an Alfa MiTo to skilfully destroy the 'invaders' - which are represented as fuel pumps and toxic barrels - with lasers fired from its headlights.

The next stop on the tour was Buchanan Street in Glasgow, with things kicking off a 4pm on Friday 19th February.

The giant game, which is operated by using a 42" High Definition touch screen, is the first interactive gaming projection in the UK.

The Alfa MiTo MultiAir range introduces the 1.4-litre 135 bhp Alfa MiTo Lusso and Veloce, as well as the 170 bhp 1.4 Alfa MiTo Cloverleaf model complete with active suspension. All versions include Start&Stop technology.
